Abstract

This article examines the psycholinguistic features of the prose works of Cho‘lpon, one of the prominent representatives of Uzbek literature. On this basis, the writer’s artistic thinking, the psychology of characters, inner speech, emotional-expressive units, as well as the mechanisms of psychological influence between the author and the reader are analyzed. The study also highlights, through relevant examples, how human psychological experiences are reflected in Cho‘lpon’s prose by means of linguistic devices and demonstrates the writer’s mastery in employing language tools to express psychological states within a specific context.
