DISCOURSE ANALYSIS AND TEXT IN MEDIA SPACE: COMMUNICATIVE, PRAGMATIC, AND COGNITIVE DIMENSIONS

This article examines the relationship between discourse, text, and media space from communicative, pragmatic, and cognitive perspectives. Particular attention is paid to the functioning of media discourse within the contemporary media environment and its interaction with social reality. The study analyzes the role of discourse as a mediator of communicative processes, the communicative nature of text, and the significance of presupposition in discourse interpretation. The findings indicate that media discourse operates as a dynamic component of media space and contributes to the construction of social meanings through verbal, symbolic, and cognitive mechanisms. Furthermore, the article highlights the role of text as a communicative model and explores the impact of media communication on public consciousness and social interaction.
